Terry Hunter kicked off Tar Heels' football team

Terry Hunter has been dismissed from North Carolina's football team, Coach John Bunting said yesterday. Bunting made the decision after spring practice ended in April. Hunter, a 6-4, 270-pound defensive lineman, was cited by UNC police Feb. 1 for misdemeanor marijuana possession during a traffic stop and had other problems in one year in the program.
