In its 2022 home opener Wednesday, the No. 2 UNC women’s lacrosse team flexed its muscles in the first half and breezed to a 20-7 victory over Furman (Highlights). Attacker Jamie Ortega scored the first two goals and is now in second place all-time in the ACC with 271 career goals. Goalie Taylor Moreno set a UNC record with her 50th career win.
