Coach Hubert Davis said he became puzzled by his North Carolina team’s first practice after its clunker of a loss to Pittsburgh this week. It wasn’t free of errors and mistakes. But there was another characteristic to behold. "The competitiveness from zero to 10, was a 10,” Davis said on Friday (Video), referring to the Tar Heels’ practice session on Thursday.
