North Carolina Earns Key Victory Over Virginia Tech

UNC arrived at Cassell Coliseum in desperate need of a road victory against a quality opponent and delivered with a 65-57 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday. The Tar Heels took control with a 22-6 run in the first half then withstood a second half rally to for its first Q1 win. Caleb Love’s 3-pointer gave UNC its largest lead at 47-33 with 14:36 to play.
