Marvin Williams did not start because Jawad Williams was a three-year starter. Echefu would not be in that position when somebody like Hawes or Devin Durant arrived in Chapel Hill in 2006. And Jawad, for that matter, was a McDonald's All-American and top-20 prospect coming out of high school. Echefu is nowhere near that. (Sporting News)
