UNC returned to the AP Top 25 at No. 25, thanks to the Tar Heels’ impressive upset of Duke. UNC was ranked No. 19 in the preseason poll but fell out of the rankings after losing to Purdue and Tennessee in the Hall of Fame Classic. The Tar Heels earned a return with their historic victory to ruin Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
