Four minutes into the game, Hubert Davis thought it was nerves. Then, throughout the game, it became clear his starters were tired. However, none of it mattered against the defensive game plan and intensity Virginia Tech showcased against UNC. “It was just very difficult against Virginia Tech's defense to consistently get great shots,” Davis said (Video).
