UNC Earns No. 8 Seed in NCAA Tournament's East Region, Will Open Against Marquette

UNC hasn't had to navigate the No. 8-seed vs. No. 9-seed matchup very often in the NCAA Tournament. For the second straight season, though, the Tar Heels will deal with that assignment. UNC is the No. 8 seed in the East Region, facing No. 9-seed Marquette on Thursday in Fort Worth, Texas. Should UNC win, it would likely face No. 1-seed Baylor. (Tar Heel Tribune)
