UNC quarterback Sam Howell demonstrated confidence and leadership during his college career

Sam Howell will bring a unique angle of expertise to his future NFL team as someone who already knows what it's like to join a squad as a young, new player and contribute right away. As a 4-star recruit in 2019, Howell hit the ground running at UNC, starting all 13 games as a freshman. He set the FBS true freshman record with 38 TD passes that year.
