UNC's Flight To Final Four Endures Bad Weather, Long Holding Pattern

The North Carolina men's basketball team took a bit longer than expected to arrive in New Orleans on Wednesday, but the Tar Heels eventually landed at Louis Armstrong International Airport. With a storm hanging over the New Orleans area, the plane was in a holding pattern for “maybe an hour,” but eventually touched down at approximately 10 PM ET. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
