Jamie Ortega scored five goals to lead the No. 1-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse team to a 14-12 win at No. 4 Syracuse on Saturday at the Carrier Dome (Highlights). The Tar Heels won the matchup of the Atlantic Coast Conference's two undefeated teams and solidified their spot atop of the ACC standings with two games to play.
