Top-seeded North Carolina dominated possession and eased by eighth-seeded Pitt, 15-6, on Friday afternoon in an ACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament quarterfinal (Highlights). Scottie Rose Growney tied her season high with five goals for the second consecutive game, recording her third career game with five-plus scores. Sam Geiersbach tallied four goals.
