Sam Howell's NFL Draft slide to Washington due to inconsistency, Mel Kiper Jr. says


Former North Carolina quarterback slipped to the fifth round of the NFL Draft at No. 144 overall to Washington, a surprising fall considering his perceived stock following his junior season, according to ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. "I’m surprised he went to the fifth round, I thought he’d be a third-rounder.
