No. 1 ranked North Carolina held serve with a 4-0 victory over No. 28 South Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship at Cary Tennis Park. North Carolina (26-2) extends its streak to 12 straight appearances in the NCAA Round of 16 with the shutout of the Gamecocks. The Tar Heels will face No. 16 seed Florida next Friday.
