No. 1 UNC Women’s Tennis Advances Past No. 16 Florida Into NCAA Quarterfinals

The No. 1 North Carolina women’s team clinched its spot in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship Friday, defeating No. 16 seed Florida, 4-0. It’s the third straight 4-0 win for UNC in the tournament. Anika Yarlagadda made short work of her Gator opponent in a 6-0, 6-2 win, before Elizabeth Scotty and Fiona Crawley each also won in straight sets.
