Hot Tar Heels Open ACC Baseball Tournament Play on Tuesday

UNC swept No. 20 Florida State in its final regular season series to catapult up the ACC standings and secure the No. 8 seed in this week’s ACC Tournament in Charlotte. The Tar Heels will begin postseason play against No. 12 seed Clemson at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. A month ago, the Tar Heels were on the outside looking in for an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
