UNC graduate thrower Jill Shippee: ACC record-holder and student-athlete advocate

Though often overlooked, UNC track and field star Jill Shippee demands attention in many field events, but none more than the hammer/weight throw. In 2017, Shippee entered the UNC track and field program as a freshman on the throwing squad. During her first spring at UNC, she earned second-team All-America honors in the hammer throw.
