A defensive end, William Fuller was a two-time first-team All-America in 1982 and 1983, was the only unanimous All-ACC selection in 1983, and a three-time, first-team All-ACC performer. He set the UNC career record with 57 tackles for loss. Fuller is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and was named to the 50 Greatest ACC Players Ever team.
