"I think when (Coach Scott Forbes) got ejected it fired us up," pitcher Gage Gillian said Monday. "Even though we ended up losing that game, going into the next day, I don't think it really affected us. When the whole crowd started chanting, 'Scott Forbes!' that fired us up even more." Mikey Madej added: "I had goosebumps (when they were chanting)."
