Houston Texans promote Ronnie McGill to personnel director


The Houston Texans have promoted pro scout to director of pro personnel, per reports. McGill was with the New England Patriots as a scout, including for three Super Bowl-winning teams, before joining the Texans last year. A former University of North Carolina running back, McGill rushed for 2,393 yards and 24 touchdowns for the Tar Heels. (Sports Talk 790)
