Austin Greaser, Ryan Gerard Fare Well In US Open First Round

UNC's Austin Greaser shot 2-over-par 72 and Ryan Gerard shot a 74 in the first round of the 2022 U.S. Open in Brookline, Mass. Greaser birdied his second and third holes (he and Gerard began their opening rounds on the 10th hole) and played the first nine bogey-free. Gerard was 4 over on his first nine and parred every hole on his second nine.
