UNC Offers 5-Star Guard Tre Johnson

UNC basketball coach Hubert Davis's pursuit of elite high school talent is taking him back to one of his NBA homes. Junior guard Tre Johnson received an offer from Davis and the Tar Heels last week. Johnson announced the offer Tuesday. Johnson, a standout at Dallas (Tex.) Lake Highlands, is ranked the No. 3 player in the class of 2024 by 247Sports.
