UNC football QB battle heats up for Drake Maye, Jacolby Criswell

Mack Brown is pointing to the past as the Tar Heels continue the process of determining their future quarterback. Jacolby Criswell and Drake Maye are competing to replace departed Sam Howell, and Brown has made references to the quarterback competition Howell won as a UNC freshman in 2019 — ahead of Jace Ruder and Cade Fortin — for comparison.
