Marie McCool, Emily Parros Help Lead US Past Canada In Women's Lacrosse World Championship Opener

A rematch of the last World Lacrosse Women's Championship game had a championship atmosphere as the United States defeated Canada, 16-11, on the opening night of the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's Championship. The former UNC standouts impressed, as Marie McCool ('18) had a hat trick and Emily Parros ('13) recorded two goals and an assist.
