On Thursday, news broke that USC and UCLA were leaving the Pac-12 for the financially greener pastures of the Big Ten. Three hours after the initial report ran wild on social media, the final 2021-22 Learfield Director’s Cup standings were announced, confirming once again that UNC is an attractive option in the consolidation occurring atop college athletics.
