Former UNC forward Kennedy Meeks played his first game for Marineros in the Dominican Republic this week, scoring two points in 11 minutes as he becomes acclimated to his new team. Joel James, meanwhile, is playing in Canada for the Hamilton Honey Badgers. James recorded six points and seven rebounds in Thursday's win over Scarborough.
