UNC Baseball commit Brooks Brannon selected by Boston Red Sox in MLB Draft


After a record-setting senior season, Randleman's Brooks Brannon was selected in the MLB Draft. The UNC commit was picked by the Boston Red Sox in the ninth round Monday with the 279th overall selection. "I move up quickly and we win a ring in Boston." He said he would discuss his future plans with the Tar Heels and the Red Sox on Tuesday. (Asheboro Courier-Tribune)
