UNC baseball commitment Brooks Brannon instead signs with Boston Red Sox after draft, turns pro


Two-time state champion Brooks Brannon has told HighSchoolOT that he has signed with the Boston Red Sox after being picked in the 9th round of the 2022 MLB Draft. Brannon's decision to sign means that he will not be enrolling at UNC and will head to the instructional league for the remainder of the year before going to his first spring training in 2023.
