No. 1 Safety Caleb Downs Commits To Alabama

Ten days after pulling 4-star running back Justice Haynes out of Georgia, the Crimson Tide landed a commitment from Caleb Downs, younger brother of UNC receiver Josh Downs. The No. 1 safety in the 2023 class chose Alabama over Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and North Carolina. Downs has the talent to compete for playing time right away. (Rivals.com)
