UNC School of Medicine funding for research surges to nearly $624 million


The UNC School of Medicine’s research funding reached $623.8 million this past fiscal year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, a growth of nearly $39.8 million from fiscal year 2021. The School of Medicine surpassed the $500 million milestone in fiscal year 2019. Research funding for the School of Medicine has grown steadily the last several years. (WRAL Tech Wire)
