UNC's defense learning to adapt under first-year leader

The approach Everett Withers is taking this season is to keep everything simple for the Tar Heels, who face Rutgers on Thursday. Withers said he hasn't changed too much from last year, when Chuck Pagano coordinated UNC's defense before leaving for the Baltimore Ravens. "With such a young team, we've tried to simplify to give our young kids a chance to play faster and play smarter."
