The future might be now for UNC at running back. The season-ending injury suffered by senior British Brooks robs the Tar Heels of a team leader and presumed starter. Mack Brown noted the emergence of true freshman running backs George Pettaway and Omarion Hampton as one of UNC’s promising preseason developments during training camp.
