As for the battle on the sidelines, Butch Davis and Greg Schiano aren’t strangers. The two coached together at Miami when Davis was the Hurricanes head coach and Schiano was his defensive coordinator in 1999 and 2000. Davis said they talk as much as a dozen times a year. They last spoke this off-season. UNC’s coach clearly has a deep respect for this week’s adversary. (WRAL.com)
