Shaun Draughn working his way up
Posted Sep 8, 2008
Safety-turned-running back, Shaun Draughn, was one of the biggest surprises of the Tar Heels' training camp and backed that up with a solid week one performance against McNeese State. Draughn came on in relief of Greg Little and carried the ball seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown. When UNC (1-0) faces Rutgers (0-1) on Thursday at 7:45 p.m. (ESPN), Draughn figures to split time with Little, the Tar Heels' starting back.
