An appetizer for UNC's season opener came Wednesday when a pair of football recruits announced their commitments to the Tar Heels. Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch receiver Paul Billups picked UNC during a ceremony at his school in the afternoon, and few hours later Manassas (Va.) Unity Reed linebacker Amare Campbell committed to Carolina.
