UNC Football makes its first trip to Boone to face Appalachian State on Saturday in what may be the most-anticipated game in Kidd Brewer Stadium history. It’s just the third time in a series that dates back to 1940 that the schools have played. UNC remembers the second time, a 34-31 loss in Chapel Hill the first season of Mack Brown’s return in 2019.
