Mack Brown takes North Carolina to Appalachian State for Saturday afternoon’s clash at Kidd Brewer Stadium, the Tar Heels’ first-ever visit to Boone and a return for Brown that has been 39 years in the making, back to the place that provided the first taste of the job that has become his life’s work.
