Virginia Tech football endures 'very embarrassing' loss at ODU in head coach Brent Pry's debut

Brent Pry promised adversity. Still, it’s hard to imagine the Virginia Tech Hokies' rookie head coach envisioned this hot mess of a debut. “It’s embarrassing,” senior linebacker Dax Hollifield said after the Hokies’ 20-17 defeat Friday night at Old Dominion. “Very embarrassing.” Harsh, but fair. Tech committed five turnovers, four of them interceptions. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
