UNC Baseball Holds First Fall Scrimmage

UNC Baseball held its first Fall scrimmage as the Blue squad took an 8-4 win over the Navy squad in an 8 1/2 inning scrimmage at Boshamer Stadium. Vance Honeycutt got the scrimmage off with a bang when he drilled a 440-foot solo homer over the scoreboard in the first to give Blue a 1-0 lead. Joe Jaconski ripped an RBI-double later in the inning. (GoHeels.com)
