North Carolina was a rare Power Five underdog on Saturday when facing off against a Group of Five opponent. The Appalachian State Mountaineers gave the Tar Heels everything they could handle, failing on a two-point conversion that would have tied the game. While it might have been a stressful win for head coach Mack Brown, a win is still a win.
