Diamondbacks pitcher Zac Gallen breaks franchise record for consecutive scoreless innings


Former UNC and current Arizona Diamondbacks right-handed pitcher on Sunday snapped the franchise record of 42 consecutive scoreless innings held by Brandon Webb in 2007 in a 12-6 victory. Gallen entered Sunday’s matchup in Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies just two outs away from tying Webb’s record and three from cracking it. (Arizona Sports)
