UNC Volleyball Wins VCU Invitational, Finishes Weekend 3-0 With Win Over UMBC

The Carolina volleyball team capped off a 3-0 weekend at the VCU Invitational with a three-set victory over UMBC on Saturday. UNC dropped just one set on the weekend. Mabrey Shaffmaster led the Tar Heels with 15 kills against the Retrievers, her sixth double-digit performance this season. Kaya Merkler and Charley Niego had nine kills apiece. (GoHeels.com)
