The No. 3 UNC women's soccer team makes its first ACC road trip of the season Thursday, visiting Syracuse for a 7 p.m. match-up on ACC Network Extra. Carolina is coming off a 3-2 loss to No. 7 Virginia at home Saturday, while Syracuse was shut out by No. 3 Duke, 1-0, on Friday. UNC's Avery Patterson is second in the ACC in goals (6) and points (14).
