McNeese State Game Guide

North Carolina will open the second season of the Butch Davis era in the first of seven home games this season against the McNeese State Cowboys. The Tar Heels are coming off of a 4-8 season last year and were picked by the ACC media to finish second in the Coastal Division. Even though Butch Davis is 1-0 in season-openers as head coach at North Carolina, the team is 3-7 in the last ten season-openers.
