McNeese ready for game with Tar Heels

McNeese State head football coach Matt Viator told members of the news media his team was excited to open the season on the road against North Carolina on Saturday. McNeese will kick off its 65th season in the game against the Tar Heels. It will be the first meeting between the two schools, but not the first time a Cowboy team has gone up against a coached squad. (Leesville Daily Leader)
