North Carolina and Virginia Tech meet Saturday for the 19th straight season on the football field in the 2022 ACC opener for the Tar Heels. UNC is 5-8-2 at home against Virginia Tech, including a 2-7 mark since the Hokies joined began ACC play in 2004. The last meeting in Chapel Hill occurred in 2020 and No. 8 UNC beat No. 19 Virginia Tech 56-45.
