UNC alters its course with victory

North Carolina is anything but a polished football team two games into Butch Davis’ second season as head coach. But Thursday, the Tar Heels may have changed the course of a program that’s been in a tailspin since Mack Brown departed for Texas oh so many years ago. Thursday’s triumph doesn’t mean UNC has arrived as a program. But it certainly signals a turn in the right direction. (Fayetteville Observer)
