Kevin Hester Playing with Purpose on Tar Heels' Defensive Line

With senior and three-year starter Raymond Vohasek out for the season, junior Kevin Hester steps into a role definitively as North Carolina's starter at nose tackle. At 6-foot-5, 305-pounds, Hester split time with Vohasek the first five games of the season. Now entering the stretch run of the season, Hester will be counted on to play a more significant role.
