No. 1 UNC Field Hockey Opens ACC Tournament Play Wednesday


Top seed North Carolina opens the ACC Field Hockey Tournament on Wednesday, taking on No. 5 seed Syracuse at 1 p.m. at Duke's Jack Katz Stadium. Wake Forest and Virginia meet in the second semifinal and the winners play Friday for the ACC championship. UNC (15-0, 6-0 ACC) wrapped up the regular season Saturday with a 2-0 win over the Blue Devils. (GoHeels.com)
