"Practice has gone well," Mack Brown said on Wednesday (Video) as the Tar Heels prepare to face Virginia. "Guys have worked hard. They’re excited." Brown said it’s the 11th week of the season for UNC, and "teams make a difference in November" in terms of separating the contenders from the pretenders. "You’ve got to either rise up or step down."
